How do I keep track of my progress in a sweepstakes?

Some of our gaming events challenge you to play a certain number of spins per day or to play until you've achieved bonus rounds in specific slots. There is no display of your progress toward these goals. Here are some methods that you might find useful for keeping track.

  • Like the Facebook post that took you into the game each day you play.
During our events, we make multiple Facebook posts, reminding our fans of the challenge and/or identifying a specific slot to play next. For an event that challenges you to play a specific slot or to play each day during a certain time period, use the Facebook posts that send you to the game on different occasions to track your personal progress. After you have completed the day's challenge goal for that slot, make sure you click Like on the post.

During multi-day challenges, if you worry you missed a day, just scroll down the DoubleDown Casino Facebook fan page and make sure you reacted to all of the posts featuring event goals.

  • Take notes, either on paper or on your computer.
Make a list of the challenge goals. Check off each one as you achieve it. For instance, in our Pink Diamond Days event, your challenge is to play the slot Pink Diamond Free Games. Each day of the challenge, you earn entries by taking spins on that slot. A non-jackpot spin earns 1 entry; a Super Jackpot spin earns 5 entries; a Mega Jackpot spin earns 10. (If you're in our free loyalty program, Diamond Club, your entries are automatically doubled!)

Start with a calendar on your wall or table, perhaps, or make a simple list of days on a piece of paper:

    Monday, February 20
    Tuesday, February 21
    Wednesday, February 22
    Thursday, February 23

While you play each day, make a mark to indicate your progress. You might choose to make a simple check mark for each non-jackpot spin, write an "S" for each Super Jackpot spin, and write an "M" for each Mega Jackpot spin. At the end of day 1, your list might look like this:

    Monday, February 20 ✓✓✓ S MM
    Tuesday, February 21
    Wednesday, February 22
    Thursday, February 23

Looking at that list, you know that on the first day, you took 3 non-jackpot spins (each worth 1 entry), then 1 Super Jackpot spin (worth 5 entries), then 2 Mega Jackpot spins (worth 10 entries each). That means you earned 28 entries on the first day (or 56, if you're in Diamond Club!).

Entries do not carry over from one day to the next, so make sure to keep playing every day!

  • Keep the time zone difference in mind.
DoubleDown Casino is based in the Pacific time zone. For us, a day starts at 12:00 AM Pacific, and ends at 11:59 PM Pacific. To be sure how much time you have to complete a day's challenge or when you can start playing toward the next day's challenge, find out what time it is in the Pacific time zone.

We hope this helps you get the most out of our sweepstakes events. What other methods have you come up with? If you have a great suggestion, share it with us on Facebook or in a message to Customer Support.
